Desktop version improvement

  • [#326] Option to add work orders without a date (work order requests)
  • Option to join an ongoing task
  • Option to reassign a task handling to a team member already involved in the task.
  • Option to assign a type to working time (transport, diagnostics, maintenance work, etc.).
  • Updated views on the file tabs.
  • A file manager has been added under the system menu. In addition to providing an overview of files, it also allows replacing an existing file.
  • [#438] Added the name of the latest task stage to the column selection in tasks table views (ACS215).
  • [#635] Added a warning when deleting dropdown options for custom fields in the Settings window if the option is currently in use.
  • [#730] …
  • [#747] Added a gradually increasing “cool‑down pause” after 10 incorrect password attempts. This applies only when the user’s IP address is on the friendly IP list (whitelisted). Otherwise, the IP address is blocked after the tenth failed attempt.
  • [#751] …
  • [#1115] Added a new field (column) “External Reference” to the Work Orders table. It is intended for API integrations where the external system’s record reference (ID) needs to be stored on the Alldevice task. Note: The value of the external reference cannot be entered, modified, or deleted through the Alldevice user interface.
  • [#1115] Added an option at the end of the Settings > Settings > Functionality tab to define an external link template, into which the value of the “external reference” can be automatically inserted. For example:
    https://domainname.com/?related_record={external_ref}
When an external link template is used, the “external reference” field in the Work Orders table becomes a clickable link that opens the referenced address in a new window.
  • [#1177] Added the CC and BCC columns to the Settings > Executors
  • [#1204] Added a new “Log” tab to Settings > Settings, displaying entries related to configuration changes.
  • [#1205] Changed the XLS export of the Tasks table to be dynamic. Previously, a fixed view was exported; now the export reflects the view you see — the currently visible columns in the selected order.
  • [#1208] Added an option to receive an e‑mail notification when a task is closed/confirmed (regardless of who created it). To enable the notification, activate the privilege “Receive e-mail notification when any task is completed”  in the user’s privilege group (Settings > Users > Groups > …/desidred group name/… > Tasks [E‑mails]).
  • [#1209] Updated the PDF attachment titles of scheduled notification e‑mails to match their content, and added the date to the filename (replacing the previous generic report.pdf).
  • [#1210] Added the spare part manufacturer to the column list of the device card’s Spare Parts tab.
  • [#1221] Added an option to automatically include the basic task details when manually sending a single e‑mail (in addition to the predefined message template). The feature can be enabled under Settings > Settings > E‑mail settings > [functionality] – Add task details to email body when sending out single task to email [On / Off].
  • [#1226] Added an option in task lists to filter out tasks that have no task stage set.
  • [#1227] Added an option in the external link settings to download the QR code. Updated the appearance of the QR code window on both the device card and the spare part card.
  • [#1228] Added two new dynamic filter options to the date filter window: “From yesterday” and “Previous month”.
  • [#1229] Added a new column “Overdue” to the Tasks table. The column displays the number of days between the planned date and today: a positive value shows how many days have passed since the planned date, while a negative value shows how many days remain until the planned date.
  • [#1230] The alphabetical sorting of locations in the device tree now follows the default language specified in the settings. Language‑specific characters are sorted according to that language’s alphabet, rather than being placed at the end or next to a similar standard character.
  • [#1234] As an alternative to closing tabs via the [x] button, tabs can now also be closed by pressing the mouse wheel while hovering over the tab title.
  • [#1207, #1215, #1232] Minor usability improvements and refinements.
