+ Category-based custom fields

The window for managing additional fields based on the equipment category also allows you to manage the standard fields displayed on the card. The window is divided into three parts.

  1. Standard fields
The Standard fields section allows you to set the following parameters:
Hide: Hides the field marked on the category related device card
Mandatory: Makes the field marked on the category related device card mandatory
    Print
    – – Task: Prints the selected field information on the task
    – – Report: Prints the selected field information on the file of the completed task report.
  2. Assigned Custom fields
The additional fields that have been enabled for the selected device category are displayed.
The order of the fields on the device map is displayed in the same order as shown in the window (first two are on the first row, left and right respectively, next two are on the next row, etc.). To change the order, drag the desired row to the desired position.
The meanings of the columns are the same as described in the standard fields section.
To remove an additional field, right-click on the desired row and select“Remove” from the context menu.
  3. Available custom fields
This section displays the custom fields that have been created in the system but not yet implemented in the selected category.
To deploy fields, tick the desired rows and click on the“Add selected” button
For more information on how to create new additional fields, see HERE.

Sample device card:

  1. Standard fields: fields that are created by default by the Alldevice CMMS application.
  2. Customa fields: fields that can be added by the user to the device card itself

FYI: If you remove the additional field that was in use from the category page, the data entered in the field will still be retained but will not be displayed on the device card. If you reset the field, the data will also reappear.
