
Under SMTP Settings it is possible to configure an alternative outgoing mail server if necessary. In most cases, SMTP configuration is not necessary. In case the program fails to send out emails with the default settings (work orders do not arrive in your mailbox, although they should) or you want to use an email address with your company domain as the sender’s email address, you need to configure an alternative outgoing mail server.
To activate the SMTP settings, tick the “Configure SMTP” box and enter the necessary information in the boxes. To obtain a server address, username and password, please contact your IT personail or a partner.
PS! We do not recommend this option any more, as it is a rather outdated technology. We will soon also close the SMTP deployment option.
However, for customers who already have this option set up and running, it will remain for some time.
